FAQs

Are you accepting new patients?

1

Yes, accepting new clients at this time.

What’s your therapy style/ specialties?

2

My therapy style is warm, empathetic, and direct. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and gently supported while also being encouraged to grow.

I know how difficult it can be to sit with vulnerability and share your story with someone new. Because of that, I approach each conversation with deep respect and care. It is truly a privilege to be invited into someone’s story, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing.

I specialize in working with women who have experienced trauma, couples who want to move from feeling stuck toward healthier patterns of connection, and group work with women recovering from intimate partner violence and other forms of relational trauma.

I also offer groups and training for pastors and lay leaders who want to better understand how to support women who have experienced these kinds of relational wounds.

Are our sessions confidential?

3

Yes. Therapy sessions are confidential, and your privacy is taken very seriously. The only exceptions are situations required by law, such as risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable person, or a court order. These limits will always be discussed with you at the start of therapy.

Do you accept insurance?

4

Yes. I accept CIGNA, AETNA, BCBS TEXAS, CARELON BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, QUEST BEHAVIORAL

The frequency of sessions is individualized and will be determined based on your needs, your treatment goals, and what feels manageable for you financially. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, but this can vary depending on your situation.

After the first few sessions, we will work together to develop a treatment plan and decide on a schedule that best supports your progress. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and the pace of our work together will be tailored to you.
